Fall Snack Mix: Makes a great Teacher Treat

Thanksgiving is right around the corner and it is always nice to give people treats to let them know they are appreciated this time of year.

I made this today and didn’t even have to run to the grocery store to get the ingredients! Bugles, pretzels, sunflower seeds, golden raisins, dried cranberries, and candy corn.  Some years I also add chocolate chips and mini marshmallows.

I love making this snack mix for teacher treats because it is easy, not too sugary, and yummy! I originally found it on Pinterest and have been making variations of it for a couple of years.  I change up the tag I put on it depending on who it is for.  You can find all sorts of tags on Pinterest too!

The link to the No Biggie Blog is below, where I got the original recipe idea.  She also has a cute printable tag that you can use for your treat bags!

Put all your ingredients in a bowl and mix them up! Easy peasy! You can put the mix in any container you like. Empty mason jars work great for this mix because you can see all the ingredients and then tie a cute ribbon around the top.

If you are worried about your little one dropping the jar on the way to school, you can use cute treat bags from the party section at Target or Walmart.  Whatever way you decide to package it, the mix looks pretty and is the perfect snack for fall days!
